The problem
Emergencies don't leave time to look things up
When an emergency comes, there is no time to search for phone numbers, decide where to meet, or remember what to pack. A plan made on a calm day is the one you will actually use. This binder walks you through making that plan, then keeps your contacts, kits, and documents together so anyone in the family can pick it up and know what to do. It also covers the households most plans leave out: mobile and manufactured homes, RVs, and farms with animals.

Questions
Frequently asked
Can I fill it in on my computer?
No. It is a printable PDF made to fill in by hand, so it works when the power and internet are out.
Do I need to fill in every page?
No. Start with contacts, your family plan, and a 72-hour kit. Then add the hazard pages for where you live, and skip the sections that don't apply.
I don't live in a mobile home or on a farm. Is it still useful?
Yes. Most of the binder is for any household. The mobile home, RV, and farm sections are there for the families who need them.
Where should I keep it?
Near the door you would leave from, somewhere everyone in the house knows, with a second copy of your contact page in each car and go bag.
How do I get the files?
Right after checkout you get a download link on screen and by email.
